Michael Higginson has been in full-time practice as a homeopath for 35 years. Originally completing a biological science degree in genetics and zoology at Latrobe University, Michael then worked as a field zoologist, making recommendations for land use based on conservation values in the Macedon Ranges area following the Ash Wednesday fires.
Returning to study, he completed the 4-year full-time naturopathic program at the Southern School of Natural Therapies in Melbourne. Graduating in 1989, he commenced practice in Ocean Grove. Another degree was added when he completed the Bachelor of Natural Medicine program at the University of Southern Cross in Lismore, Northern New South Wales.
